The Role

Your role will be providing support to the Warehouse Manager in relation to all Warehouse & Distribution functions across the business.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising and handling all shipping and receiving of goods
• Ensuring all internal and external stakeholders are kept up to date on freight
• Maintaining strict and accurate inventory control
• Ensuring high standards are met and maintained with warehouse processes, compliance, housekeeping and WHS
• Team supervision, delegation and training
• Dispatching of sales orders
• Liaising with transport companies.
• Ordering and tracking consumables
• Conducting periodic spot checks, stock takes and performance management tasks.
• Forklift operation on a walk behind high reach.

About you:

As the successful candidate, you have:

• Solid experience in and knowledge of warehouse  and operations management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse documentation requirements with good writing skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with both internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated leadership capability
• Experience in implementing an ERP/WMS
• Current forklift license (not essential)
