The Opportunity

We are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join our busy manufacturing and supply chain team. The primary focus of this role is to provide support to the Warehouse Manager and oversee the Warehouse and Distribution operation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the management of all shipping and receiving of goods
  • Maintain and uphold superior warehouse processes, compliance, housekeeping and WHS
  • Team Supervision (team of 5), mentoring and training
  • Introduction of a new ERP system and this person will be a key stakeholder in the implementation, testing and training
  • Maintaining strict and accurate inventory control
  • Liaising with transport companies
  • Ordering and tracking consumables
  • Conduct periodic spot checks, stock takes and performance management tasks

 About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of warehouse supervision/operations
  • Direct people leadership skills
  • Strong customer focus, both internal and external
  • Thrives on building a culture of high quality and safety mindset
  • Collaborative and outgoing people leader
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse documentation requirements with good writing skills
  • Excellent planning and resource allocation skills

Please note, this role will require you to work shifts Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. There may be an occasional requirement to work outside of these hours, inclusive of Saturday.
